Shangri Lodge is a magnificent 7,200 square foot nine-bedroom luxury Gatlinburg Cabin with sensational amenities designed to provide a most memorable and pleasurable corporate retreat, family reunion or other very special vacation holiday experience. This fabulous property is located overlooking the Gatlinburg Parkway in prestigious Chalet Village with available community swimming pools and tennis courts. Shangri Lodge takes its name from mythical Shangri-La, which is a utopian blissful and peaceful setting. The auditorium/media room at Shangri Lodge comfortably seats 28 and offers simple operation for sensational theater quality high definition television or DVD viewing. This versatile facility is also perfect for corporate presentations with each chair having a convenient surface for laptop or note taking. There is wireless internet with four chairs having wired internet connections. A second projector is available for Power Point presentations. There are also two separate high definition plasma television Bose surround sound systems in other areas of Shangri Lodge.

Comfort abounds in eight tastefully decorated grand master bedroom suites. To maximize versatility four have king-sized beds, with three offering two queen-sized beds, and one having two full-sized beds. Each of the eight grand master bedroom suites has seasonal roaring gas fireplace, and television with DVD. The grand master suite bathrooms are designed for maximum comfort and relaxation with two-person Jacuzzi, separate shower, vanity with two sinks, make-up area, and television. There is also a very pleasant ninth master suite with queen bed, and bath with shower. Walk through the French door from any bedroom and experience breathtaking Smoky mountain views. In all there is some 1,400 square feet of outdoor decking from which to view Mt. LeConte and downtown Gatlinburg. The large kitchen at Shangri Lodge is delightful with double oven, two separate cooktops, double sink, center island, dishwasher, countertop and cupboard storage space, large refrigerator/freezer, and breakfast bar with eating area. Enjoy the massive dining room. We are confident that you will find Shangri Lodge to be a magnificent setting for your most sensational Smoky Mountain experience. An exercise room is provided for fitness enthusiasts.

Sugarlands Visitor Center
Sugarlands Visitor Center is open year round. It is located inside the Park, two miles south of Gatlinburg on US 441. Guided programs are conducted seasonally. Please check at the visitor center and/or the web site for times and locations of these programs. The visitor center features free admission to a 20-minute film with Dolby Digital Surround Sound and extensive natural history exhibits. Available facilities include the Great Smoky Mountains Natural History Association bookstore and shop, public restrooms and telephones, soda and water machines, and a back country permit station.

Gatlinburg City Parks are a best kept secret in the area. Plan a reunion or retreat picnic!

The Gatlinburg Community Center also makes for great group entertainment, especially when you need alternate activities during inclemate weather.  Affordable rates for bowling, indoor swimming, basketball courts, racquetball courts and more! Shangri Lodge has access to the Chalet Village Owners Club which can provide days of activity and fun. Swimming, tennis, ping-pong and more are awaiting your tournament fun or simply an afternoon of pleasure.. These clubhouses offer meeting spaces for groups of 5 to 200. Reservations for meeting spaces to gather your entire group are handled by the clubhouse managers who may be reached at 865-436-4440.
